Fight might be a bit RNG because of the 10% miss chance, but it applies to the Omnitrons as well so ...
Rupture doesn't need to stun for this strat to work. Stun procs are just icing on the cake.

Had same problem as Anonymous. Started out with water jet and then followed the above. Worked perfect! Perhaps you missed out a water jet as turn 1?
