Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

i used cocoon strike then call lightning to open, and swapped to ikky. ikky died at the end but bringing back a full hp cerulean moth and being able to use cocoon strike during the undead round to block the antean cannon again made it easy, didn't need 3rd pet at all

This strat right here, couldn't do it with above. This worked.

Works great in 9.0.2 Beta (still testing there because we will see even more changes than the ones added in Pre-Patch).
I would not recommend avoiding the Antaen Cannon kill and then do a manual swap as suggested, Ikky manages to trigger Undead passive before first Consume can heal so it's absolutely fine and anything else would only make the fight longer. (edited)

Works like a charm in SL prepatch. As Toenail wrote, I did cocoonstrike first to block the beam, then did call lightning.

I swapped in a levelling pet before ikky and it still worked fine

Rajvosa wrote on 2017-09-05 17:10:05

Northern Hawk Owl (1, 1, 1)
Ikky (1, 2, 1)
Chi-Chi (1, 2, 1)
Owl: Call Darkness (Owl dies)
Ikky: Nocturnal Strike, Flock, Nocturnal Strike (Ikky dies)
Chi-Chi: Wild Magic, Etheral, Fire Quills. Finish with Fire Quills

impeccable strat, ikky really is invaluable for this metaachievement.

Theeia wrote on 2017-09-29 21:02:01

This! It worked perfectly the first time.

Toastrinath wrote on 2017-09-01 01:25:16

An easy strat with pets most people have / leveled is Ikky for black claw, dies to one shot. Then just any of the Falcosaur Hatchlings for Falcosaur swarm then Predatory Strike. Make sure he is Sub 750 before you PS.

Fluffyrock wrote on 2017-09-02 02:48:54

Quick and easy, thanks!

Xpariah wrote on 2017-09-26 03:16:22

This strat is beautiful and super easy. Thanks!

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-07 02:43:52

ONLY 2 PETS NEEDED
Skywisp Moth using Cocoon Strike and Call Lightning, and Ikky. Start with Moth, Cocoon Strike the one-shot, then Call Lightning. Swap to Ikky. Black Claw then Flock. Ikky will die after second round of Flock, boss is almost dead. Swap back into Skywisp moth, Call LIghtning to kill boss, then Cocoon Strike the turn of immunity one-shot. So ez. :P

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-25 13:03:23

Perfect! Thank you!

noctus wrote on 2017-09-09 07:26:04

boss is 281 or 282. your flyer has to be faster.
my cerulian is 27x (b/b) so i subbed crimsonwing (same abilitys/spots but my crimsonwing is h/s so faster) used cerulian as my any.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-18 00:54:54

While your Cerulian may be 27x.... it starts the fight with higher due to being flying. (+50% speed while above 50% health).

Dakini wrote on 2017-09-10 23:08:01

Perfect

Ivik wrote on 2017-09-10 08:27:39

Any flock pet + any moth with Cocoon strike will do the trick.

Skander wrote on 2017-09-02 20:50:12

Zangar Spore - explode, Ikky - Blackclaw, Flock

Eekwibble wrote on 2017-09-03 00:25:52

Zangar Spore isn't fast enough to do this, only Umbrafen and Brilliant Spores are.

It's entirely redundant, though, you don't need the first pet to do anything but soak the Cannon. Ikky wipes out the pet on its own.

Skander wrote on 2017-09-03 07:40:28

Flying creatures get the passive +50% speed while >50% health. It's fast enough.

Anonymous wrote on 2017-09-04 18:26:28

Had to use flock twice, other than that, perfect. My B/B Zangar Spore is fast enough!

Tranmere Fan wrote on 2017-09-02 16:54:28

This strat will work, except when you hit the shoddy coding of Blizzard tried 7 times now, it bugs on the ress round of One of Many, and the pet battle just terminates. Worked out a solution, Cocoon Strike with Cerulean Moth,. Then follow the above, swapping in Ikky, who will be the casualty, after Ikky dead Cocoon Strike, with another Call Lightning, He will be at his undead round at this stage. Should have needed to adjust the strat, but as I say kept bugging.

Wenchie wrote on 2017-09-02 18:54:19

Yup, I had to do the same after being bugged int he res round every time :(

Cution wrote on 2017-08-30 17:44:16

I tried to use the original strat, but my Ikky kept dying before getting his Flock off. So i changed them around. I used Vale Flitter first. Used Call of lightning and it died. Then Ikky. Black Claw and then Flock. Did it like 3 times in a row and worked like a charm everytime

Shaelai wrote on 2017-08-30 19:15:34

Emerson wrote on 2017-08-31 17:19:08

+1 - didn't need a second pet at all. Moth and Ikky were enough

Boraxius wrote on 2017-08-31 21:51:14

Works great. Any flying pet with Call Lightning in first spot with Ikky in 2nd spot works. Mine was a lvl 23 Uncommon Crimsonwing Moth.

Vibah wrote on 2017-09-01 19:14:17

Bravelyn wrote on 2017-09-01 05:56:39

I used dragon kite speed breed call lightening kite dies, then Ikky clack claw and flock did not need 3rd pet but had brilliant kaliri in case i needed it, good luck and enjoy

Jess wrote on 2017-08-30 07:21:07

I used Chi-Chi with a 1-2-1 configuration, Violet Firefly with 1-1-1 and Vale Flitter with 1-1-2 . I started with Chi-Chi with dodge and Wild Magic then switched to Violet Firefly to add Glowing Toxin and Confusing Sting, switched to the Vale Flitter used Call Lighting and Slicing Wind. Make sure to block the big attack when it comes up then switch to put glowing toxin back on. Finished with Chi-Chi.
